Recently purchased a 1970 Sea Ray SRV 150 15.6" fiberglass pleasure boat. Hoping to refurbish. Gutted the inside; removed seats, carpets and side panels. There are holes in the floor where the cleats for the seats were screwed onto the fiberglass floor. When I walk on the floor water seepes out these screw holes.
-what would be in the space between the floor and the hull?
-if some flotation material what typeor should there be an air lock?
-could there be an exit for the water to drain to the bilge?
-how would I suck or blow the water out of this cavity
I am hoping not to have to drill a hole in the fiberglass but if I have to will do.
Is anyone familiar with this situation?
