I have a 2015 Yamaha f115xb with just over 500 hours. Coming in from water yesterday and water started to spray from top of midsection. Stronger spray at high rpm's. Strong tell tale and no overheat alarm or change in performance. Under the hood is completely dry. Any help is appreciated.

The video won't play for me. Are you able to connect water and run the motor on land?

Yep. It was hooked up to the flush attachment (not running) and the water still lightly sprayed out from top of midsection. Increases when running or rpm's increase.

Also, I can't remove the midsection cover to get a better look. The nuts that hold the cover screws in place are spinning freely and are completely seated in the plastic cover itself. Terrible design.
