Water splashing at transom

I have a 15.5 ft FC470 Zodiac with a 40hp long shaft evinrude, water seems to be splashing up the transom into the back of the boat any insight on how to cure this? Cheers Mike

It happens because it is a long shaft, you can either go up one trim setting or go faster, it is the only thing that will stop it ....
