Re: Water Pump Problems

Generally speaking the pumps should be done every other year or so.When sitting they seem to dry out and stop working. For any overheat or not pumping problem, the best place to begin is the waterpump.<br /><br />DHP

Re: Water Pump Problems

Bugs like to nest in the "pee hole" or telltale where the water comes out, and the hose above the pee hole. Make sure it is clear. A flexible wire or piece of string-trimmer string works well for this. I have had them completely stopped up by mud-dobbers, and after clearing them they worked fine.
