1 have a 1976 135 hp evinrude and im changing the water pump, i can find all the internal parts but i cant find new housing, mine has two holes for water to travel, if anyone could help would appreciate thanks
The original aluminum pump housings are no longer made (thankfully). You need to buy a 439140 water pump kit that includes everything to update it to the plastic pump with stainless steel liners. You get it at an Evinrude dealer.
It's part of the model no. Check the last character on the data plate (port side of mounting bracket or stamped on freeze plug (top aft part of motor). The BRP PL shows the same PN for both variations, so the pump PN F_R posted above probably OK for both.
