water pump impeller

I have replaced the impeller in a 1999 Force 120hp outboard .Will the impeller put the propper twist into itself after replacement?

You had to bend it to get it in, correct?

Are you concerned that you bent it the wrong way?

Some guys say it will straighten out without a problem. I don't know, never put one in wrong.
