I was checking my water pump and broke off one of the boats. I tried to use a backout tool and it broke off also. needless to say I had to have it knocked out, re-weld, and tapped. What I need to know is was there a gasket in that gap that in the image? I know there is a top gasket where you see the piece on the bolt but was there one in that gap?
