Water leaking into bilge

I get a steady stream of water into my bilge as soon as my boat hits the water, I have attached a picture. In the pic dead center under the black plate that is attached to the transom there is a triangle hole that the water comes out. I can reach my hand up over the black plate and feel open space not seen in the pic. If I plug the hole with a rag the water builds up in the open space and comes over the top of the plate.

Any ideas where this water is coming from, 1994 glastron gs185 4.3 mercruiser.

Thanks for any suggestions!!

Ayuh,..... Where the trim hoses go,..??..??

If so, the gasket for the trim hyd manifold could be bad, or, possibly the transom housing is corroded through,....
The hyd. manifold bolts on from outside the hull,....
Unbolt it, pull it down, 'n check it out,....

@Bondo So are you saying that I can inspect this issue through the out drive? I figured I had to remove the engine to figure this out?

The trim hoses connect to the hyd. manifold, Right about where yer leak is,....
It unbolts from the transom housin', at the bottom,.....
Go out to the boat, lay on the ground under the drive, 'n look straight up,....
You'll see where I'm talkin' 'bout,.....
No need to pull the drive,.............. yet anyways,...... ;)

Yup, been there done that. I have a used boat for several years now, when I got it it had a leak. I replaced all the bellows and related stuff, Put her in and still had the same leak. Yup, it was the trim block gasket. At least now I know everything is safe.
