water leak

hello can anybody help me? I've got a 898 mercruiser with a 305 engine.
my bilge was filling up with water when out fishin. brought the boat home and filled the bilge up with water up to the oil pan and water started coming out of the port side exhaust port. any help would be great. thank you..

I had started a thread similiar to this the other day when my bilge started gaining a quart an hour of water. Have it splashed it yet (tomorrow) to test the drain housing that I took out and, put a gasket in, and sealed it with 3M 4200 Fast Cure (24hours) thanks to Coors suggestion.

My question for you is how does filling up the bilge to the oil pan get to your exhaust port? I wouldn't think the port would even be touching anything close to the bilge. I can't get a visual on this one, sorry.
