Water intake location? MC 185 w/AlphaOne

I just got a Sunbird 195 with MerCruiser 185 with AlphaOne I/O drive.

This is my first I/O boat. The engine needs a little TLC and checkout before I take it to the lake (seller got it to kick over with ether but we didn't want to actually run it). With my outboards, this included either muffs or a water barrel to run the engine.
Where is the water intake on this setup?

On the Lower Unit of the Outdrive, between the Propshaft Line and the Anti-Ventilation Plate

and you can not run an outdrive in a barrel. you must use the muffs.

The same place as on an outboard, then, so I can use muffs.

And no, I didn't think a barrel would work.
