could someone please tell me where the water inlet and outlet is on the evinrude 4hp 1983 thankyou

red is water intake, yellow exhaust, green exhaust relief ports.

thanks that was a verry fast responce but this may sound silly to the people who know what there talking about but where dose the water come out from

exhaust relief, and the exhaust. you should get atleast droplets of water out the exhaust relief at idle. to test run the motor has to be in a barrel, submerge 1/2 way up the leg.
