I believe i have water in my gas but the fuel tank is not visible. Don't really want to siphon 40 gallons out. Will Sea-foam cure this, or am i in need of something else?? Any input is much appreciated... THANKS!

You only have to siphon out the tank until all the water is out, not gas, water will be on the bottom and be siphoned first, then you will get a water/gas mix then straight gas.

Could be a gallon, could be 5.

More important is how the water is getting into the tank and to repair that so it doesn't keep happening. Tank vent? Deck Fill?

Sounds like the voice of experience.
Sea foam will not work, I don't think there is anything the will dissolve the water, My wife bought some of this dry gas stuff last year and it just set on my garage shelf till this summer when I decided to experiment with it, took a mason jar full of gas with just a shot of water added, I put the gas dry stuff in and it did absolutely nothing, the water remained.

this is major......dont ignore this.

if water is getting in other than thru the vent....you are leaking gas and are sitting on a bomb.

im betting on the vent.....make sure that the vent is pointed in a direction that will minimize any water getting in there

Look on the container. Dry gas is alcohol, nothing more. If you're using E10 fuel, you already have 10% alcohol in your fuel.

And - you cannot "disolve" water.

First, why do you believe you have water in your gas?

If you are lucky enough to be using non-ethanol fuel, the water will settle to the bottom of the tank. You need to get it out. Siphoning will work if you can get the hose to the bottom of the tank and make it stay there.

If you are using E10 (ethanol) fuel, the water has already combined with the ethanol and the entire tank of fuel is useless. It all needs to be removed and disposed of.

Sea Foam or any other product will not "cure this". Used on a regular basis, some of these products will allow small amounts of water (say from condensation) to pass through the fuel system without damage. "Startron" is well known and is the brand I use. It must be added each time you add fuel to the tank.
