Water in hull locker?

Hello!

Back from another fine weekend of boating. The past two outings I have noticed in my storage locker within the hull on my Q5i SF that there has been a small amount of water in it. The strange thing is that it has been very dry with no rain and also no one was wet when getting into the boat. Has anyone else experienced this problem? I don't think it is anything major but I would rather be safe than sorry.

I am referring to the storage compartment in the floor, not sure if all Tahoes have this feature or not.

Any insight from anyone would be greatly appreciated since this is my first boat.

If there was any existing water in there at any time, it does not drain completely since the drain hose is a little higher than the bottom of the storage locker. Mine has a little in it as well. Bilge is dry however.

Thanks for the info Ralphy. When I run the bilge it is also completely dry.

Does the locker ever drain out? At one point my wife stowed our fenders in there after departing from the dock, possibly that was where the water came from

I'm going to monitor the amount and hopefully it does not increase with time.

You can check the drain that runs to the bilge and make sure it isnt plugged with debris. I just had that happen in the front bow compartment. There are drain hoses that run into the hull locker and then they drain to the bilge. One of these hoses was blocked with horse flies....lol. Might be worth a look in your case.
