Water--lots is getting into 6 and 8 only.
There was actually a 1/8 cup of so water in 6 sitting on top of the piston when I took the head off.
Cylinder wall 6 had lots rust on it 8 much less but some
6 & 8 both had low compression 60-80 lbs--rest were fine 120 of so.
Exhaust manifold ports on 6 and 8 had surface rust and water n them.
It was run recently and added a 1/4in to dip stick in 20 min. it was running fine @ idle.
I can't see any cracks anywhere. all drain plugs were left open last winter.
So I know it is:
Cracked Heads
Head Gasket
Cracked Intake
Cracked Exhaust manifolds
Cracked Block
Given that the problem is defiantly isolated to 6 and some 8 what is your guess?
