Is there a way to connect a garden hose to a 1970 Merc. 50 HP 500, black, so i can run it without going to the lake or filling a big tub or something with water.
Go to your local marina or even Walmart and buy a set of "muffs" for your motor. They slide over the water intakes and then you can hook your garden hose to them. You do not need to turn the hose on full blast. Just a good steady stream is all thats needed.
