when changing out the water/fuel filters ...other than buying the same one . how
would you know which ones to get ....thread size and seal. do most have the same thread size
I believe the thread pitch is pretty standard unless you have an odd ball. Most of the housing are pretty universal as well as far as seal size goes. Take a look at the underside of the housing and see if it has several groves on it to fit different size filters.
if you are referring to a water/fuel separator, there are a couple different size threads. Get the part number off the one you have now. And why would you not want the same one??
