Reminder to all to be alert about the stingee things. I went to take a birdfeeder down to hang an oilpan on the sheperds hook to paint it. Small wasp nest inside and BAM! one stung me right on the nose 1/2way between my eyebrows and the tip of my nose! After 5 mins the pain was tremendous, it felt like my nose was broken badly, not at all like a sting. more like someone hit me w a 2x4 and crushed the bone. After about 30 mins. it subsided. but was unbearable for about 1/2 hr. 2 benidrils and some pretty good swelling for three days (Left cheek and eye swollen almost shut and every guy at work teasing "your wife popped you, didnt she?":p I told them I wish that was it, it would feel alot better!.......4 days later coming home from work shirtless,(broke AC) another wasp came in the window and got wedged between my back and the seat and started tatooing the middle of my back as I jerked and jived trying to stop/kill it and not crash my truck in the heavy traffic!!! I got home an hour before my wife and could not reach the sting to apply first aid as it was in the middle of my back.:facepalm:

Yeah, I got this one out of my boat tarp before it got me a few weeks ago.

Not a stinger, but a nasty biter!
