washer 12-72498 and clearance?

I am reinstalling my Alpha One and was wondering if there is a set clearance between the gimble ring and bell housing? I have one washer (12-72498) on each side. There is no mention in my service manual #6. The clearance currently measures .025.

There is no set clearance, just a torque spec on the hinge pins.

Thank for the reply StevNimrod. Hinge pins torqued to 95'#s and now on with the re-install.
