Dear Moderators,

At the bottom of each post is the term "report". I don't really know why this word is there, and what the intent was of the person who put it there. I am thinking there should also be another phrase at the bottom of each post, or on the expert's tag line: Was this problem resolved? Please post the solution.
Or something similar that would alert people that it is not polite to leave us hanging.

Report is a link to report the post to the moderators...if you feel it violates one of the terms.

If you start to use the Report button to ask why no resolution of a problem has been posted, you are going to have a problem with Mods.

Report is for flagging posts suspected of spam or in need of moderation. Only Mods see a report flag and we won't rag on members to post the solution.

This thread is deserving of hitting the Report button. It is the wrong section. Moving.
