Warning horn beeps

I have a 1996 Nitro 170 DC with a 115 Mercury. I have always kept up the boat and have had no problems with the boat. Recently while going across the lake at full speed, the warning horn started to beep intermittent short beeps. If I take it to the shop it will be a month before I get it back. I would like to check it out the best I can before I take it to the shop. Any suggestions. Thanks Lee

do you have oil injection,the autoblend system? if so it sounds like your having a oil injection problem, do you lose power when that happens let me know more

It is the auto blend. The plastic resovoir is mounted in the motor housing. everything looks good. The beeping noise only happened once and I shut it down. I can turn the key to accesories without starting the motor and it beeps. I took the battery cable off the battery hoping it would reset but it continues to beep. Thanks
