warning horn burned out on omc control unit, I want to mount a differant horn/light on the console, this motor has vro. Does the purple wire supply the voltage and the brown the nessasary ground for differant warning sounds
Yes.The brown/tan is the sensor wire. horn should have seprate groung wire. The logic for the different alarn sound is in the horn, if you use an aftermarket horn the warning sound may be all the same.
