I have a 95’ SeaRay 200 with a 5.0 LX V8 Inboard with an Alpha One sterndrive. Within the last 3 weeks i have; replaces battery, changed the oil/filter, changed stern drive gear lube. I ran the boat with ears while working on it to get everything good to go for the water. So i changed the gear lube last weekend and this past weekend i attempted to put the boat in the water. I put the ears on and started the boat, but the one thing that was different is that the warning buzzer won’t go off. I checked my gauges, checked my dipstick and all looked OK. Went ahead and put the boat in the water but still on the trailer and the buzzer remained on but everything still tested OK. Take the boat down the river and it goes out sometimes when i reach a certain rpm or speed and sometimes it doesn’t, then i notice it cuts out and back in whenever i hit another boats wake. Just wondering if anyone has ever had this problem and has a solution, i’m thinking i could possibly have a gear lube monitor/reservoir on the top of my motor that’s empty(Per Mercruiser) but it’s a 45 minute drive to find out.

Ayuh,..... Welcome Aboard,...... There's 3 switches that activate the alarm,.....

The outdrive oil bottle, the water at the t-stat housin', 'n the oil pressure, probably midway, Way down low, portside of yer block, just above the oil pan, slightly aft of center,...

Unplug each 1, 'n see which 1 kills the buzzer,....
