Boat 1987 Skeeter Starfire 175<br />Motor 1987 V6 175 HP Carb,Oil injection <br />SNB221598<br />The engine is cold. A steady warning buzzer sometimes comes on when ign.sw. is turned on, but sometimes the alarm beeps twice then goes off as normal.<br />I have removed tan/blu wire from temp. sending unit on right side of head & this does not make steady warning buzzer off. Checked tan/blu to ground, and it's not grounded.<br />This buzzer is driving me nuts.<br />Some additional input. The boat was rear ended on water by another boat(yes it came over me) and did $5000 damage to hull & motor. This has been repaired, But now I have this alarm problem.<br />What do I look for next?
