This is a good point DJ and quite true. I love the choices too, but the back draft of this issue is that if you like cheap stuff (Walmart/Harbour Freight/etc) you can't complain about 'offshoring' work and the resulting loss of jobs. Basically....love hurts and if you wanna play (cheap) you're going pay somewhere. I wish it was different but I have to at least try to put my money where my mouth is...which means not frequenting the super cheap options such as Walmart or Harbour Freight and in particular their made in China stuff.
Heck.....I even went so far as to run a 'made in America' motor on my boat...my Force 1990/90hp, which by the way is a great motor...not one problem with it yet.
