I am a beginnning and am in the process of buying my first wakeboard boat. The dealer said it is a great beginner boat because it has the power and throws a good quality wake that isn't real big. My question is as I advance what can I do to make the wake bigger. I have seen adjustable plates on the stern inbetween the exhaust pipes and don't know if this is good for adjusting the size of the wake. My boat will not have that but can it be added?

Re: Wake size

Well what kind of boat :D

You can do some things with water bags BUT buying the right boat would be the better way to go if you can

IMHP only about 1% of Boarders can use a BIG wake and the rest of us just dream as getting inverted is a LONG way off and generaly requires a lot of trips to the ER  unless you go to school and get the correct training

As you can see it does NOT take that much wake to catch plenty of air

Re: Wake size

it a 1998 Moomba Mobius. It is built for wakeboarding so its the right boat for the job. I am just being curious as to how I coudl increase the wake if I wanted to
