I have a 1989 VRO 90 HP. I am going to replace the cracked VRO pump with a standard. Do I get the direct bolt on pump with no pulse port fitting (do I have to remove a plug form the block near the mounting threads? and plug my lower pluse fitting) or do I get the 3 hose fitting pump and connect a hose from my VRO pulse fitting to the pulse port on the pump (I just installed the blue pulse port before I deceded to go mixed fuel).

It is a toss up between the Sierra 18-7353 and 18-7352. Which would be easier. Is the plug easy to remove on the block. The motor is just like new.

I just recently converted mine from VRO to premix and ordered the 18-1752, you only need the 2 fuel line setup if your carbs currently share the fuel line coming from the pump. Both will need a barb type fitting stuck in side of pump for the pulse hose, unless your setup has the mounting bracket that uses the 3 hole gasket shown in the picture. I was lucky and had a spare barb sitting around but you can simply buy one from a parts store, it is a 5/16" barb. Mine works great. Any more questions just ask.
