1986 johnson 90hp
120 psi x4
I have deleted the vro.
It was running and starting better than ever since vro delete...But...
Shortly after delete its struggling to get up and go (hesitates badly)but eventually does clear and go once the speed increases...and when it does get up,seems to run fine 40mph,16ft fiber tech.
Next time I try, it struggles and continues to struggle...very intermittent problem.she shakes when at idle when this above problem is present. I've cleaned both carbs.
im a pretty good vehicle mechanic....dad was a circle track racer.played with engines all my life...just not boats.
One issue I did find is the black/yellow stripe ground wire inside the shifter has been removed and capped.
The buzzer alarm looks to be melted.
My question is....should this black/yellow stripe wire inside the shifter be re-grounded?
What should I be mixing my (now)non VRO fuel ratio? Thanks in advance!
