VP SX drive disassembling - need help!

Hello boating people!
I have removed my Volvo Penta SX drive from transom shield for clearing, service and greasing bearings and I can not disunite the specified details, probably they have got stuck on four studs which pass through the spindle arm.
I must clear the transom shield hard-to-reach spots of seaweed and cockleshells. Prompt as to separate these details. Who knows - please help! Thanks.

Below is a link to one of the SX manuals, may not be the right one for your drive, but the transom shield is the same.

Go to page 2-9 of the manual, it explains how to remove the gimbal ring. You will need the special tool.
For cleaning, I wouldn't go to all the work to take it apart, make some tools to get to the hard to reach places to clean.

2 Don S - Thanks for the quick reply and link. it is very useful. Just that that is necessary, especially page 2-10. I will try to disassemble without the special tool. I want to clear all details and coat with primer and AF paint for aluminium drive.
