VP Steering Actuator

I'm replacing a leaking steering actuator on a 2003 Glastron SX210 with a 5.0gl and sx outdrive. A friend of mine has an extra actuator that came off his boat and was rebuilt but has a different part number than mine. From what I've seen online it looks like the parts are interchangeable but wanted to get some feedback.

The actuator that came off mine is 3862210 and the actuator he has is 3812269.

The steering actuator did work. Fit right on and lake tested with no issues
