Volvo Penta overheating

I have a Volvo Penta 432A (4.3 V6) that overheats within minutes. I changed and put new water pump on because the bearing and the impeller went bad on the old one. Impeller missing half blades, and the bearings outer seal came off. Totally my fault. Before all this I took plate off of water pump to inspect impeller. It looked good so I put the plate back on, but didn’t tighten them due to hearing my kids arguing. So went to the lake, everything was fine, but boat overheated within 20 minutes. Inspected the engine and noticed one of the screws came off the front plate of the water pump. Saw water leaking out of water pump pretty good. Kicked myself in the butt because I forgot to tighten the FOUR little screws down. Friend towed me back to the dock. Bought new water pump, and same thing overheating when trying it out on muffs in drive way. Almost seems not getting enough water. Now thinking maybe I assembled the upper and lower unit together wrong. I’m thinking maybe the steering knuckle/water pipe that feeds water to inlet hose connection (on H fork suspension) isn’t seated right to the brand new o-ring on lower unit. Below is a pic of the water pump bearing and other pic of the steering knuckle/water tube that connects to hose connection

First I would backflush the cooling system and find all the missing impeller blades. They are likely clogging key parts of your cooling system. If you're raw water cooled, this would include pulling the thermostat in the flushing process.

Did you also replace the #24 “O” ring seal ? Also looks like you need a new bearing in the pump. You might be able to match it up at any NAPA or a bearing supply warehouse.
