Volvo outdrive 280

In reading Nameless in Nashville about his tilt problem. It has touched on an area of need for me also. I am aware of the down and off and up and slip condition that the tilt motor does. However is there or do they make a tilt indicator for these units. Or does anyone know of a way to retrofit a position indicator from a mercrusier outdrive to a Volvo? I like your qoute of the day <br />As for the outdrive, no. At least, not that I am aware of. I saw one that had a fiberglass 1/4" rod strapped to the side. It really had me wondering why,then it dawned on me,as this boat drove onto the trailer at the ramp. He used it as a trim indicator!<br />Good ol yankee jackle engineering! bin ladin aint got a prayer with folks like that around!
