Volvo oil pressure reads 80 psi all times

Just thought of something from my previous post.
This being a cluster gauge and all gauges using 240/33 ohm senders, swap the fuel gauge with the Temp sender and see if it moves the same amount

I see where you’re going with this! The fuel gage and the water temp? What about the oil pressure? !

Genius. Raging I didn’t think of that now ! Haha.
Think it’s the oil pressure gauge he is having issue with. But I won’t take points off for that 😂

Excellent idea from AD…but I’m sure it can’t be the gauge itself. That’s just doing what the resistance is telling it to do, you’d think. What make or brand is the gauge you have ? Any pics

The old gauge read 80 and the new gauge reads 80 so I don’t think it’s the gauge but the wiring? 1678926248834.jpeg
