I'm curious what the Volvo equivalent designation is for my joint venture '95 OMC Ford 5.0 EFI multiport engine is (50FAPHUE). I assume it will be something like Volvo 5.0 GXi, or something like that. Does anybody know?

If your looking for any of the EFI components. They are all NLA. Ford quit support years ago

Thanks! I know parts are NLA. I have been finding them so far, either used or old stock, which is how I've been limping along so far. I know I'll eventually need to go to carb, especially once the ECM goes. I just wanted to know the Volvo number more out of curiosity, and possibly as an avenue to find parts in the future.

Thanks again!

The only problems these ECM's sometimes run into is leaking capacitors that can easily be replaced. I pulled mine apart to inspect and take photos of all of the capacitors. I had none leaking and the inside of my ECM was spotless. But now I have a spare set of capacitors. These ECM's can be reflashed too if needed. Fuel injectors and pressure regulator is no different than a 95 Mustang. No reason to leave EFI if you don't want to.
