I see where your going with the math, i highly doubt that will ever happen, because you will likely have one or more exhaust valve(s) open at all times which would break your siphon.

Just wondering if you've done a compression test to see if you maybe warped a head with the overheating...

No, open exaust valves are open to the manifold and water intrusion, unless it happens to be the 5 or so degrees of rotation when both the intake and exhuast are open. Other wise all you have done is expose the cylinder to the same vacuum.

Even so the rings will leak enough that it won't hold a vacuum.

It does not need to hold a vacuum just create a siphon.

for it to do what he is talking about it would need to, but my point is that the valves and cylinders/rings are leaky enough that it wouldn't happen.
