volvo 5.7 thermostat housing?

im switching back to a open cooling system how do you connect the small waterpump hose and overheat sensor up directly under the hose comming out of thermo. housing? is their a low profile t that fits their?

Overheat switch is fitted into the thermostat housing, no t peice required, check you housing for removable blanks.

Don't confuse this with the water temp sensor which is fitted in the inlet manifold next to the thermostat housing.
