Put a rag over the shrader valve and press in on the valve to bleed the air out. This might not be the issue because pouring gas in I would think it should have self bleed, but worth a try.

Can you get a noid light to test the injectors? You connect the noid to the connector on the injector and see if its going ON/OFF as it cranks or running.

So while limping the engine along, its idling at 900 rpm. Got ahold of a noid light - my dad said "noid!? Isn't that the bad pizza guy?" Yes this is the road we're down now haha...anyway, going to test with the noid light. Correct me if I'm wrong, but by adding gas down the throttle body, does that bypass the injectors somehow? If we threw fuel cleaner down the throttle body, would that hit the injectors and help clean them out? Without a doubt we can sit and pour gas into the throttle body and keep her running. I also for sanities sake checked that we're getting gas to the fuel pump assembly from the tanks. On the other hand it won't start or stay running on it's own. Mind boggling.

Yes, it puts gas in the intake, then the gas is pulled into the cylinders during the intake stroke.

No, if the injectors are clogged they are clogged from the inside, not the outside. Just like spraying carb cleaner on a curded up carburetor, when done the carb looks real clean outside, but on the inside its still all crud on the inside

If all (do mean all) the injectors and/or fuel rail is cogged up, then the motor will not run. Don't know if it is from clogging, or from the ECM not telling the injectors to turn ON (noid light)

Thanks for the explanation, that makes sense now. So with the noid light, yes we get lights on the fuel injector connections. I tested all four on one side through four separate starts. So probably need to clean or have the injectors sent for cleaning?

You have spark, fuel pressure and the ECM is signaling the injectors, so will agree need to have the injectors cleaned. Also clean the fuel rail and regulator

Well we got it running!!! Took the fuel injectors to a local shop that needed a few days to fully service them. The shop said they were really stuck, but cleaned up really well. They were basically turned into corks on the fuel rail. So no wonder it wouldn't run. I also fully cleaned the fuel rail while we had it dismantled. Got everything cleaned and reassembled, we did a little "I believe!" and it fired up without even blinking. So thanks for everyone's input on this thread, especially AllDodge. Now to get her out on the lake!
