Great stuff Barlow, thx again.

Are the names you added "your names", what the locals call these locations? They all have different names on my map.
No wonder people get lost out there :) .

For Your info:
Knobb Creek Island = Deer Island
the bay = Back Bay
the cove = Four Islands ( but I count about ten)
the pit = Slaughterhouse Bay

lol... yea it's a good code to use ... keeps eaves droppers thinkin' too ...well it did until I posted it infront of a hundered million people. Its a funny body of water at night if you don't have a lot of experience on it and are out with just a single boat.

I found a few guys north of the boulders that kept jamming themselves into the pit trying to get south to the Dam ramp.. had them follow me all the way back but, I cranked 'er up to around 40mph on the way threw to the main basin. ..
they called me @#$%@ nuts at the ramp. I told'em to follow my wash to begin with cuz I was hungry.. oh well. they made it :D

SE - no prob man .... they're live bait spinner rigs for trolling or fast drifting.

I tie my own but you can get similar rigs at bait shops. I've just become a bit particular on the components - using different hooks, swivels, beads, clevesis and blades ... the rigs on the snell-keeper are either 8lb (.009 dia.)or 10lb (.010 dia.) green mono. Just another thing I prefer.

..and yea, I'm a bit anal. :D

Yeah, gotta speak in code around some guys.
We kindof name places based on previous experiances.

The best of which is a small weedy spot on a lake up in Canada.
We call it "Humiliation Point".

I took my brother-in-law there a few years ago.
I caught our limit of walleyes (8 total) in about 10 minutes, by slow retrieving a spinner rig like yours, through the weeds. Brother-in-law was still trying to rig up his pole and telling me how to fish. Then he asked why I had started the motor.
I pointed to the 8 eyes and told him we had to quit cause we had our limit.!!

He is a true outdoorsman and a great hunter, but that night, I got him good. :)
