VIN Decoding

I have a 1993 ski centurion... i am looking for some help on the model im not sure what model it is the vin number is FINA4258F393 it says its a carbon fiber haul and says official tow boat on the back its a closed bow not sure if any of this helps if there is anyother info that would lead to figuring this out let me know

FIN is the mfg....Fineline Industries Inc. Merced, Ca.
The A4258 is the model and hull number, but I haven't searched for it.
F393 is June 1993

BTW.....it's called a hull ID number....or HIN

Thanks for the info...do you know a web site where i can put the info on the hull id in to find the model

Yes....but you have to pay for access and I've never paid to access it. I'm on my iPod touch right now....can't put the link in...if you search on HIN you may be able to find it. The Coast Guard only gives you the MIC...mfg identification code FIN in your case.....you could call Fineline and ask....

There were several different systems...yours matches system 1 in the link above.

And here is the link that you can search the MIC to find the mfg. (Mfg Identification Code...first three letters of the HIN): http://www.uscgboating.org/recalls/mic1.aspx
