Viking/Chrysler 9.6 HP carb?.

Has anyone had any luck finding an alternative carb for the Viking/Chrysler 9.6?.
I can’t find anything close and the carb on mine broke. I’m finding used one on eBay but who know the state of them?.

I've never seen a carb wear out. I've rarely heard of one breaking. If you find a good price, I'd buy it and a rebuild kit and get to work.

Ya still rebuild kits available I broke the cast on where the throttle shaft goes through. The one I have is layered in green oxidation. As well.

Call Franz Marine....he might have one or know where to get one......

Look up Marine Salvage Yards, Antique outboards and any combo of words that might get you to the older motors.
