5500 RPMs, good popping noise, 12 years? Everything looks and sounds good. I still think that outboard just needs to be taken out for a good run.

If it sounds rough to you then maybe it just needs the carbs cleaned.

yes, its run just like this for 12 years, but now I can't remember what I did with the idle mixture screws when I rebuilt the carbs. I may have left them since they are not specified in the POS manual I have.
it's been a great motor.
