I am installing both a Garmin Echomap UHD 75 and a Uniden VHF radio. I noticed the two can share coordinates which sounds good to me for safety and figured i might as well figure this out while i have everything apart.

I just cant figure out which wires to connect as they dont correspond, im also not sure if my Echomap would be considered a chartplotter or a GPS in the uniden instructions.

Ive attached all of the wiring information and instructions. If anyone has experience with this that would be great

Ground your VHF's NMEA -IN (GRN), Then Chart Potter's Tx out(BLU) ----> VHF NMEA +IN (YL). That's about as complcated as it is or you can break it out like as depicted below.

Also, might have to go into settings on both Garmin(tell it to Xmit data out on 0183) and VHF to receive NMEA 0183 data.....If I recall right, I had to dittle a few settings around when I did just this same thing the other year.
