You're on the right track with an aluminum Starcraft. They're plentiful, tough, easy to work on and cool lookin'. Perhaps a 16'-18' would be better. It shouldn't be too hard to find one and I'm sure you can get you money back on the little boat. Happy hunting. Keep us posted.
