? Vacuum hose? or air hose question

Have a Mercruiser 5.0 Alpha I I/O on Bayliner Classic '94. There is a small hose right next to the Exhaust bellow that has a broken plastic connector on the prop side. I am trying to find the part but I don?t know what it is called.

Is it a black about 1/4 inch tube? does your speedo work? it could be the speedo pickup tube.

AH! yes it is black and 1/4 inch and I have not been able to figure out why the speedometer does not work sinse I bought the boat a couple of months ago... Thanks, would anyone know what the part number is? I can't locate it by the name.

That's the speedometer hose and connector that goes into the top of the lower unit.




Mercruiser par number is 22-815956A 1 for the assembly.

Can someone tell me if a vacuum hose goes in these male and female holes.
