V6 Crossflow swap to V6 Looper

Hello all,<br /><br />I am swapping out my 1985 185hp (crossflow) to a 1988 225hp(looper). They both have the round red plug harness. <br /><br />Any recommendations on what needs to be done for a clean swap. I planned on using the stock OMC shift controls that came with the 85' 185.<br /><br />I do know about priming and presure testing the VRO before running.<br /><br />Thanks ahead for any help...

Boy are you in for a shock! You wont believe the difference.<br /><br />As far as the swap goes, it's a straight deal. No problem. On the oil injection just pump the oil line bulb until you have oil at the end nearest the motor. Then hook it up. Mark the oil level in the tank and run 50:1 until you verify it's being used. If you don't have the self test horn now is the time to get one.
