Re: V6 135 stator 2wire old/4 wire new
J_Martin and Charlie B, thank you so much, you are obviously electrical minded wizards!!,I did exactly what you said, and you were so correct, unfortunately I couldnt test run the motor tonight, but to determine the polarity phaseing I took the plugs out and span it over,John you were absolutly correct, the first way I had them connected I got 37 volts, well done,so then I swopped two cables over one each charge circuit with the other,I respan it over and had 0.9v, I then selcted this connection, joined the wires like this to eachother and then before connecting to the reg I tested betweeen the two cables that were joined,as the two connections that would be soon to be connected to the reg,I span this over and got 9v on spin over,I presume this is now correct and so proceeded to connect these to the reg. Hope I have made sense, to recap maybe in more understandable.>>>>>>>>>>> I have now one wire from one charge circuit joined to one other cable from other charge circuit joined together, call this conn1, and the same with the other two, call these con2, between con1 and con2 on spin over with no plugs in reads 9v on ac digital meter. and these are the two con1 and con2 to go to the reg two connections, I am so proud of you for your help. with best regards Grant, ps where would we be without forums and the internet, how did we used to manage,it made it so it is not such a longer winded affair, my best regards Grant
