USPS, How does this even happen. Comical

I placed an order from a company in Kentucky, I live in Pennsylvania. The last place it was seen was a post office in North Carolina.

you should see my overseas shipments thru Fed-Ex...29 out of 31 shipments required no less than 4 hours of phone calls to get the package to get released from Memphis.

Had a similar thing happen a couple of months ago. Package went back and forth between Elkhart and South Bend IN twice.

I had a package depart from northern NJ to come to Central NJ... it ended up in Connecticut and took about a week to receive, bouncing through 2 regional centers.

FedEx has yet to deliver me a package on time, undamaged or at all. UPS is surprisingly decent for me.

I live on an island and years ago you could send mail to someone in the same town or another island town and it would be there the next day. Now it goes off island to RI for sorting and then comes back in about 4 or 5 days.
It makes no sense to me but I’m sure there is reason.

Same here, ordered something coming from NY and it goes to Louisville, then to FL then back to Louisville than to me in south central KY

The bar code sticker directs the mail in the most cost effective manner.-----The last mile in delivery is the most expensive.

i briefly managed a mail sorting center. I am truly amazed that anything gets anywhere.

Update,, Package is out for delivery as of yesterday. Guess the mail carrier is still driving the 500 miles to my place.

I had a package out for delivery yesterday now they say it will be the 27th. Maybe are stuff is on the same truck.
