using leader with trilene sensation?

to anyone who uses berkely trilene sensation in the green or orange color, is it better to use a clear leader with the line to increase hookups or is it ok just to tie lures straight onto the sensation?

It's going to come down to the type of fish (do they care) and the water conditions (could they see the line if they wanted too).
