eBay. I picked up a 2004 F150 with 299 hrs on it, came with fresh impeller and balancer done. Was a trade-in at a marina shop. They even offered the choice of leaving it as an 25" shaft or converting it to a 20" (I may have the only 20" '04 F150 lol).
I wouldn't say "filled". In fact, I've made mostly good decisions, based upon good due diligence. Only someone that has lead a sheltered life would not understand the the pitfalls of buying used.
Yes, I have had good sucess with buying used for more than 60 years. I do go thru everything with a fine tooth comb so to speak. Have walked away from many and missed quite a few by waiting and thinking on it. Such is life, most folks have been reliable, gettin easier to spot the crooks, comes with experience I guess....
