had motor out all day sat and it ran good at all rpms, the only thing i noticed is that at around 4000 rpm, maybe just a slight 50 to 75 rpm fluctuation on the tach, but is almost unnoticable from the motor, iam thinking maybe was a dirty spark plug problem, but makes you wonder if these motors are set to run so clean how could that be, and for doing the fuel pump tests i am still going to figure out how to do it and identify the pumps in the fuel system, thanks for info and suggestions

When was the last time the exhaust sensor tube, restrictor, and hose was cleaned?

What is the top rpm with a normal load on board?

i think i like where you are headed with this, never, and i never heard of it, but because i always run regular 87 octane gas it could be dirtying up a sensor, but my top rpms are right were they should be, at 5300-5500 rpm, would the info i need to clean the sensor or be able to find it be in the service manual, thanks
