They raise the prices of gasoline in anticipation of what they will have to pay for it when the next tanker pulls in to fill them up.

The only people making a killing are the ones who drill to get the oil out of the ground. All others are just victims along the supply chain.

Solution = buy a geo metro. :D

Ken

Brazil; home to the world’s largest hydro-electric power plant…built with a loan from the World Bank…required Brazil to implement an income tax scheme on her citizen to pay back the World Bank loan, something that will never be realized.

At least those are "triple" derrik rigs. In the last boom they dragged out the "double" ones. But the duplex pumps are really old school. You would be suprised how much oil you can get at 4000-7000 ft. It doesnt come fast or plentiful, but at 70 bucks a barrel, there are many people digging for the black gold.

Ken

Re: up .14 cents in one day

nioce to see 18r reads so much and is bottle fed news by our alphabet sound bite system,
I was refering to how much gaoline brizil now uses. most of there vehicles run on 24% ethanol and many on 100% with a govt mandate that all vehicles will run on ethanol soon, how soon remains to be seen but so far they have all but weaned themselves. but like I say their climate is more conducive to growing sugar cane and fruits which give better yeilds than corn.
but if a third world govt can do it why cant our govt, git er done ?
could it be the amount of folks in our govt that have ties to oil for profits ?
or could it just be a lack of careing ?
